RESTON, VA, February 4, 2010 – NetGain Communications, a leading telecom solutions provider, announced today that it has launched a creative advertising campaign developed for its wholly owned subsidiary, iTEMize Technologies. “The mis-Adventures of Telco Bill” series of cartoons and animations highlight various functions of its innovative Telecom Expense Management software, iTEMize.
"Given the need for companies to cut back in order to survive these tough economic times, humor has the ability to suspend reality for a few moments and even accelerate the impact of a marketing program," said Peter Callowhill, CEO of NetGain.
Callowhill noted that the use of humor can lead to a dramatic increase in audience awareness and engagement. "Poking fun at telecom invoices and the inability to deal with massive amounts of mind-numbing detail is something everyone can relate to," he said. "This can make people more receptive to our message."
The "Telco Bill” campaign has gone viral with many cartoon episodes posted on blogs and other social networking sites, as well as the website of iTEMize Technologies, where the complete set of 10 cartoons can be viewed. Several animated episodes can be seen on YouTube.
